The small shaped forms throughout the background carry the scripture like quiet reminders stitched into the atmosphere of the work. The surface is also layered with fabric, textured materials, and pieces of mirror, so the painting shifts as light moves across it. I love that part. It makes the piece feel alive—full of reflection, depth, and holy interruption
To me, this painting carries the beauty of being called out of old fear and into the covering of God’s love. It is expressive and full of motion, yet underneath it all there is steadiness
